Brown sauce is nice on a full English or with pie and chips. Not to be used under any other circumstances. I'm not northern btw

Brown sauce is for the sophisticated, red sauce is for cowboy plumbers in London!

@fullmetalannie I think you're trying to introduce a grey area here that is not required. It's easier just to have it banned. It's just not natural!

Brown sauce is an absolute must in bacon sandwiches (unless you've really splashed out for some nice maple cure bacon or somesuch).

Toast a slice of bread. Put on a layer of Brown Sauce, then put Cheshire cheese on top of that, with some black pepper. Then toast until the cheese melts. Wonderful Cheesy HP Toast ala Gibbons style!

Can someone please pass the tissues to mop up my tears of sadness!
Nothing on cheese on toast other than cheese. Except ham if the President of Fiji's coming [(c) Bill Bailey].
I know that you're rabble rousing the Brown Sauce brigade! I don't believe there are that many people that actually like it!!

Well the only thing to compliment chips is good old Heinz Tomato Ketchup!

When I was a kid, I wouldn't eat anything unless I could have tomoato sauce with it. In fact, left to my own devices I used to make myself tomato sauce sandwiches!

Te he. I'd forgotten all about them! Best made with butter on white bread. Perhaps I should start a mid life crisis and bring them back.
